I think what we're talking about is an executive order not a friggin decree from god almighty.
I think if the executive order turns out to be some shit and only causes more problems it can be altered or adjusted or amended or altogether abandoned.
I think fear and prejudice has got some people so worked up they have lost all sense of proportion along with all sense of humanity and community and compassion for others.
But you don't give a shit what I think anyway so I don't know why you even asking.

They do commit the most rapes and seem to have lighter sentences than other rapists.

Hmm, that table doesn’t break out Latinos, interestingly enough. A curious omission in a discussion of whether white men are a larger threat than other groups.

Latino isn’t a race. 27% of rape arrests were Latino/Hispanic.

So 57% white. 73% not Hispanic.

Considering that whites make up 72% of the population, blacks 13% of the population and there is no category for Hispanics, it’s fair to say that per capita, whites are definitely not doing the majority of rapes.

As predicted, no answer. It’s a simple question—is increased crime on MoCo residents an acceptable cost of refusal to cooperate with ICE, or isn’t it? Easy for me to answer—I say no. What say you?

If you have a white child you have a better chance of winning the lottery than getting raped by an Illegal Hispanic.

You also have a 1 in 6 chance of being raped by the white man!

majority isn’t The right word. whites commit per capita a lower rate (to their percent of the population).

Yeah, I'm on the side of people doing their damn jobs and not burdening other parties with their deficiencies in accountability.
What do you say when kids are failing school or running around acting like idiots bullying and beating people up? "These parents need to take more responsibility for their own kids." That's where the onus belongs, right?
What do you say when homeless people are panhandling outside your job and hanging around the Metro station? "These bums need to take more responsibility for their own lives." That's where the onus belongs, right?
Okay well county personnel and departments cannot investigate or assist in the investigation of someone's citizenship or immigration status unless required by a court order because the onus belongs on ICE.
The federal government needs to take more responsibility for its own departments.

I don’t think any of these are useful analogies, but we can leave that aside. Do you think it is so important that the “onus” be placed on ICE, even if doing so will result in more crimes committed against MoCo residents, or don’t you? Simple question. I doubt you will answer it, but I’ve been wrong before.

It has been show that is will not lead to more crimes.

Simple Question for you: If Moco does start aiding in raids and deporting witnesses and victims and more crimes are committed/not solved... would you still support MoCo doing ICE's job for them?

So illegal and Hispanic much lower

I say increased crime is not an inevitable outcome of this executive order as you insist.
I say decreased crime could be a possibility outcome because the immigrant community of Montgomery County represents more than 30% of the county’s population and they are victims of crime themselves but often afraid to alert police for fear of repercussions due to harsh immigration policies thus giving criminals a green light to commit more robberies and rapes, but with this executive order which prevents authorities from asking residents about their immigration status they may be more inclined to cooperate when it comes to local crimes and thus locking more people up and preventing more crimes.
I say this executive order may indeed frustrate the federal government in their efforts but it may very well free the county authorities up to better do their job.
I say you can try all you want trying to get your "Gotcha" moment on me because I have the audacity to have a different opinion but it doesn't change the fact that you're operating purely on pessimistic presumption which is not fact so...yeah...there's no "Gotcha" moment unless you've got a crystal ball and can see into the future.
Sorry.

The majority of women raped in the US are raped by white guys.

Who is most likely to rape me? A white guy.

End of story.

So?

Black men aren’t raping nearly as many people as white men are.

Again, the majority of women raped in the US are raped by white guys.
