Meghan left her kids for 13 days during a pandemic after her former relationship went down in flames from too much parent time.

I’m a single mom. The rug was ripped out from under me as I tried to build a traditional life for my family (in a non-traditional career). I hate dating. It’s exhausting. But I want to find a partner. I want to have fun with my friends — because having fun with a husband isn’t in the cards right now. I want to feel sexy and adored on a beach in a tropical location. I want to feel free from the responsibilities of raising three children with some help from sitters (do you know what this is like? It’s not like having another parent – not AT ALL. If I’m around, the kids only want mommy to tie their shoes or pour their milk or show off how they can twist their wrist 80 times in a row. And there’s three of them within 18 months of each other. Jim has 50/50 custody. Why do you care? Parents take vacations without kids frequently without kids. There’s a post in the travel forum now asking for recommendations on where to go.

This is stupid. My parents left us for 2 week long vacations regularly. We would go to my grandparents' vacation properties with them or they would come stay with us and spoil us. It is not bad parenting to leave your kids in the care of another responsible adult who loves them for 2 weeks so you can take care of yourself (or your marriage). Everyone was safe, loved, and turned out fine.

What bothers me is the narcissistic need for him to take this posed “family” picture with Meghan’s child in his AP’s arms. Is it really necessary to post a picture like everything is just fine, mere months after he was caught texting this woman while Meghan was giving birth to the child she now holds. It’s gross and distasteful. These type of cheating men tend to rewrite history.

He's not re-writing history. This is history. Meghan was cheating with him while his dying second wife was hospitalized with cancer.
