Official Brett Kavanaugh Thread, Part 3

Just want to say here, for all the posters who are against Republicans, that this is not, ultimately, a Republican versus Democrat battle. It's about abusive people in power (usually men). It's easy for us left-leaning people to see that the Supreme Court nominee is a poor choice, because we don't like his views to begin with. How many of us would find it so easy if a person we agreed with was accused of the same thing?

So look within yourselves, all of you. I hope we can all do the right thing even if the person accused is one of our own party.

Al Franken, most recently.

I am a dem happy to condemn Bill Clinton's scummy behavior and many others do too.

One of the many reasons why this matters

Our republic is about to be dead.

Long live the Trump regime.

I expect Ivanka will be our Queen for the rest of my life after Donald passes.

No she doesn't. Give it a rest. Anyone who speaks out against the GOP overthrow of our republic is quite sane.

Telling ALL men to shut up might not be the best way to "speak out" and get what you want. Especially if that includes respect.

Democrats will fight ANY conservative pick.
Let's just be honest here.
. Just like Gorsuch. Right?

Remind me how many Dem votes Gorsuch got.

Yeah. So, there you go. (All but 3) Democrats WILL fight any conservative pick.

Wrong, they weren’t prepared to fight Merrick Garland.

Al Franken, most recently.

Actually Eric Schneiderman was way more recent than Franken.

Would love to see how cool and collected you would be under the circumstances.

Everyone I know would be, actually. We are well-mannered adults, experts in our fields, and got to the top not through wealthy white connections but through hard work and excellent social skills. Of course we'd do a better job. And some of us have been in extremely contentious, extremely high-stakes, situations, and been calm and dignified throughout.

This man is not worthy of the Supreme Court or any other top job.

Are you whire? Because if you are, I'm laughing really hard over here.

I have always leaned right of center on many issues and find Ford absolutely credible, and Kavanaugh not worthy of the Supreme Court.

The PAC to fund Grassley's 2022 opponent is already up to nearly $64k. I expect it to go higher after today's antics.

He’s such a focker. Women are furious and we are not going to forget.

It may be inaccurate, but I have never, ever heard of it being hostile or right wing.

No decent person should cast another vote for a GOP candidate ever again.

She’s a nut who speaks purely out of emotion with no reason or intelligence to back it up.

You have her confused with Donald Trump.
