Ok but you know Holder didn’t appoint him to represent Alex Jones, right?

Duh. That doesn't make him any more trustworthy, now does it?

I was wondering when the RWNJs would come back and cry about the Dems being the real problem. And I can't even decipher this nonsense.

Let me spell it out for you: There is no way two years of texts were sent to the defense accidentally. I can't stand Jones, but I hate miscarriage of justice and a banana republic more.

Dp- it must be a conspiracy…..🙄

You and I both know that it was no accident.

Ok. But the prosecutor told the defense attorney he had been sent this stuff. How much of the defense’s job does the prosecutor need to do?

+1 Dude is incompetent.

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/alex-jones-lawyer-could-face-legal-consequences-phone-records-release-experts-2022-08-06/

The lawyer defending conspiracy theorist Alex Jones in a Texas trial drew his own national headlines this week for accidentally handing over highly-sensitive data to his adversaries, opening him up to potential legal consequences.

Houston lawyer Federico Andino Reynal acknowledged that Jones' legal team had provided lawyers for parents of a child killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School mass shooting with a digital copy of the Infowars founder’s phone contents, which included text messages and medical records.

Reynal's small Houston law firm primarily handles criminal defense cases in state and federal courts.

He successfully defended Carmen Maria Montiel, a former Miss Venezuela, from a 2013 charge of assault against a flight attendant. A jury acquitted her in 2015.

Montiel, now a Republican candidate for Congress, said her daughter, who wants to be a lawyer, interned with Reynal. Montiel said that he "always does the best for his clients."

Reynal also represented Cody Wilson, who ran a 3-D printed guns company. Wilson was charged with sexual assault in 2018 and later pleaded guilty to lesser charges. Wilson told Reuters on Friday that Reynal had "an impossible task" in the Jones case but represented Jones "as best he could."

I would like you to spell out the “miscarriage of justice”, please.

So you think the attorney deliberately sent the texts to the plaintiff. And? He also mind controlled Alex Jones into choosing him as the lawyer, so he could leak the contents of his texts?

It is unlikely that this dump of data was intentional as he has opened himself up to a boat load of problems because of the personal medical records included which were related to another case. The judge mentioned these and wants them removed before the info is shared with anyone else. Apparently the personal medical records she referred to are related to another Sandy Hook defamation case against Jones in CT. The judge in this case has ordered Reynal and a partner to appear before her to consider sanctions over their unauthorized release of Sandy Hook plaintiffs’ medical records. What an f up.

Go find your tinfoil hat. Alex Jones’ lawyer is dim. Alex Jones had 10 lawyers before Andino Reynal. There’s a reason for that. No legit lawyer wanted to be associated with the looney loser a**hat, even if Alex Jones is the darling of right wingers.

Wonder if Paul Pelosi will have that issue?

The texts were one thing. Who caused the trial to be decided by default? I know Jones didn’t show up for at least one deposition, and refused to hand over appropriate documents, but how much of that was Jones and how much was the attorney?

I think with a civil trial, the appeal based on in effective assistance of counsel is not allowed, right? I thought that was about a Constitutional issue with criminal cases only.

There is no miscarriage of justice, unless like me you think that Jones should spend the rest if his miserable life bankrupt and rotting in a jail cell.

Oh, you aren't able to articulate your nonsense "banana republic" and "miscarriage of justice" claims but you're able to trot out something irrelevant. Red herring logical fallacy.

You apparently are a fan of Jones - just admit it.

It’s an interesting point. If the attorney did it intentionally, he could lose his license to practice law.

I am not the PP, but I’d like to know if it was Jones or terrible attorneys who tanked the entire trial phase, and handed over what should have been kept from the plaintiffs’ attorney.
