The husband was at work and had an alibi at the time you claim he could have committed the murders. He came home on 9/10 at nearly midnight from the hospital. He then left the apartment at 6:30am on 9/11 to start his next shift. You don't think the NYPD vetted this guy? They can easily get shift logs from the hospital to figure out when he left/arrived. |
Because they are somewhere. She bought the items at 6pm on 9/10 and was potentially spotted in her building's lobby on the morning of 9/11 without the bags. The bags were not in the apartment, per her husband's testimony. |
I've asked this a few times and no one has responded. I'm guessing it's classified. |
This is the video from the surveillance camera in the Century 21 department store: https://youtu.be/XcAjPzimC_c?t=8m53s It's very grainy, only capture one frame every few seconds. I haven't seen any photos or video of the apartment building lobby. |
The bags are probably where she spent the night of September 10. Where she was is the key. After she left the store, there's no verified record of her. If she stayed at a friend's or even random stranger's, they haven't come forward. There's no record of her checking into a hotel. If she went to a hotel with a lover or random stranger, they haven't come forward. It's possible that she or they both perished in a hotel room near WTC. Either killed the night b/f or too drunk/incapacitated to hear the planes and subsequent alarms, sirens. Or both she and whomever she spent the night with perished as bystanders after the attack. Or she walked away from her life. |

Here's what I think:
Sneha died in the WTC attack. She might have gone there to help given her medical background, or she might have been passing through. She had an alcohol problem, perhaps a compulsive shopping problem (the C21 lady remembered her as a regular), sexual identity issues. She went shopping, with or without a friend, then went to a bar. Go out of control drunk - maybe also drug use - lost the shopping bags along the way or left them at a stranger's home, someone who picked her up in the bar. Coming home in the morning, she could have taken subway or otherwise passed through WTC environs on her way home. If that is her on the apartment surveillance video, she made it home (sans shopping bags - easily they were lost during a night of partying) and turned and went back out, either to help at WTC (if time stamp was wrong) or to get takeout coffee/food/some other errand in the vicinity. The husband probably made the 4am call to VM to see if she'd left him a message. She's not alive anymore. A women who spent the Friday night prior with her mom & said she hoped to do it more often afterward would not disappear and not let her parents know what became of her. She was not estranged from her parents. |
That's based only on what the mother said. Maybe she said it, maybe not. Her life was in turmoil maybe she was already planning to leave and said it not to arouse suspicion. What mother wants to remember the final time spent with a child as being contentious? Her parents keep her room the same even though she was a married adult. They don't acknowledge that her work troubles had to do with alcohol abuse even though she spent a night in jail for filing a false police report. To gain attention to her story, the brother lied to the press saying he spoke with her by cell (even though she didn't have one) to say that she couldn't leave [ground zero] because people were hurt. So the tv station ran her story--no leads/witnesses materialized. The distributed flyers at the store--that's why the clerk who sold her the shoes remembered her b/cash was a regular saying she was shopping with a friend. This is separate from the clip of her walking out of the store with a woman with the bags. That was the previous store. If she didn't start a new life, she probably murdered, ended her own life. Maybe it was 9/10 or 9/11. Her world was crashing down and then literally the world was crashing down. I don't find this story fascinating. I find it sad and depressing. If 9/11 hadn't happened, this family would have answers and closure. |
| This would be a very interesting topic for the podcast Serial. |
No one perished in hotel rooms close to WTC. The only people killed at the hotel were 2 workers and firefighters using it as a staging area. Knock if off your list. Highly unlikely killed as bystanders since there were so few of those. Off list. Last one is real possibility. Indian doctor with clear problems as failure with family and husband. Some gay tendencies and a court case? All combines to either killed by someone she knows or walking away from her life. 2 hours messaging with her Mom? That sounds like someone in crisis. |
ha! I had that exact same thought |
I do think it's possible that people died in the rubble when the tours fell who are unaccounted for. Yes, there was an overflow of missing person reports made that the police needed to verify. But given how many Jane/john does there are in general in the us, there could be people who died at ground zero and but one reported them as missing. The physical debris and even part of the plane stretched for blocks. It's possible that she was in the vicinity and was buried in the rubble. |
|
Also when I say as a bystander, like the people milling about after the attacks:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=s0pO4XAq5Sg 13 seconds in there's an older white woman in a pink shirt. She didn't look like she could outrun the debris that was cascading down the street. There are lots of clips out there like this. Lots of people who didn't necessarily work or live in the area and weren't first responders were in the area. It wasn't expected that the towers would collapse so the area was evacuated. |

But if she did die at the wtc, why has no one come forward from the day or night of the 10th to comfort the grieving family? Not one person. If she spent the night of the 10th getting drunk in a bar by herself, for example, wouldn't the bartender have remembered her when her story started appearing on the news? Would he not have come forward? Even the store clerk who interacted with her for just five minutes contacted the husband to help out.
It just seems like a very weird coincidence. |
| Where was her brother on the 10th? Could he be covering for her since he lied about being in contact with her to garner attention after the 11th? |
It is. That's why I think it's also possible that she could have left to start over. And just as likely that she was murdered. NYC actually needs to finish processing personal items found in the recovery efforts and not just to clarify this case. But even if this finally happens it may not definitive for what happened to her. Unless new evidence is discovered, I think it's cruel to her family to rehash the details in a podcast. We can speculate until the cows come home, but no one really knows. |
