The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ~ New Season

I'm not crazy about her either, but Brandi is just so gross. When Kyle told her she wasn't wanted, she said, "Neither are you. Ask your husband." I mean, are you SERIOUS?! After she got flat out got cheated on multiple times and then left by her husband? No cognitive dissonance there, Brandi?

She is like watching a trainwreck but I don't think she has a true drinking problem. She is acting like any other divorced woman who goes out drinking when her kids are with the ex- like a 20-something hitting the bars Wed-Sat nights.

Maybe not this season, but RHOBH was popular before Brandi. I enjoyed the show more with Camille and Adrienne.

+1

It's not entertaining to watch mentally unstable individuals tear apart families.

Bitchiness, cattiness, frivolous crap- entertaining. Brandi- Doesn't leave me feeling entertained, she leaves me feeling sad and gross about the how disgusting some people can truly be.

The problem is Kim. Addicts lie. Simply a fact. Brandi means well, Kyle is fed up with it.

My husband has a friend like Kim - been going on for over 20 years. He told me he got a 'goodbye cruel world' email this AM. After they got off the phone, my first question was "how much money does he want?"

I was correct. I will not sign a check unless it it straight to a rehab center.

+1.

Kyle has had to deal with Kim's addiction for years. I see Brandi as almost an enabler, trying to shield Kim from the consequences of her addiction. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that was not the first time she took one of her ex-husband's pain pills.

Totally agree

I hope you all know that all of this so-called "drama" is purely concocted for all intents and purposes to keep this show in good standing.

In real life, these women probably all get along really well and even chat on the phone together, while producers plan what new feud they will go with next.

However knowing this, I still don't care.

It's like with professional wrestling. Men know it's all fake, but they still watch it anyway. Hell, look how much money they make touring arenas nationally.

I say it's the same with us women. Except they fight without body slamming each other. For now.

Kim has real problems and this show doesn't seem to be helping. I actually feel bad for Kyle, who has had to deal with the fallout for decades. Kyle isn't my favorite person, but tonight when Kim said you shouldn't go after people she loves, she seemed to mean Brandi and not her own sister. Ugh.

And Brandi continues to be awful. Kim's fear is that whatever she's saying will be outed and there's Brandi, saying all sorts of stuff to Lisa R.

Why am I watching?!?!?

But could/would Kim really fake all this? It's very serious stuff, related to her sobriety and mental health issues.

Kim is so nutty. Even when sober, she never makes sense and is so melodramatic in her camera interviews. She drives me crazy.

Brandi continues to be toxic, so sure of herself that she's done nothing wrong. She's definitely self-righteous and totally enabling Kim. If she were a true friend, she'd take a harder, firmer stance with her instead of treating Kim like a little girl/victim.

I like Lisa R. and Eileen, but it seems like both of them need to stay out of this. Neither woman knows Kyle or Kim well at all (or am I mistaken about this?), and it seems silly and contrived to have them stepping in as the mediators. I think they're both great and have some wise and funny things to share, but it makes no sense to have them involved in this situation.

Yolanda, on the other hand, said exactly what needed to be said to Brandi, even telling her she was acting like an asshole. Brandi is unbelievable, taking that opportunity to lash back at Yolanda by calling her daughter a "drunk". She is a seriously unhappy and mean person and I can't believe she has any friends at this point.

Just curious, but where is Kim getting money from? Besides this show, of course. Does she still receive alimony from any of her exes? How does she fund her lifestyle

Where is all the cat fighting we love? The drama and name calling?

The episodes I have seen so far has everyone just playing nice to each other.

With the new additions of Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson, they have just added a sappy dynamic to the cast.

It's like Eileen is promoting her return to acting in soap operas again while Lisa is promoting her perfect marriage to former Sexiest Man Alive, Harry Hamlin.

Everyone is getting along great.

Who wants to tune in to that??

Yawn.

I had to boycott the show because I refuse to watch anything that features Brandi, I just simply cannot stand the woman. I actually like Eileen, Lisa and Kyle. Yolanda, Brandi and Kim can all go off for good and when Brandi is gone I will start watching again.

I was wondering this too. Surely it can't all be from her childhood acting career.

She had a small part on the show revenge recently. So that probably covered the water bill for the month.

I loved the dress that both Brandi and Yolanda wore to Lisa's party.

Other than that, I'm bored. I hope the rest of this season isn't going to be about Kim's sobriety. Yawn.

I love Lisa Rinna more and more each episode.

And I can guarantee Brandi isn't off the sauce or a 21-day cleanse diet. How gullible is Yolanda?

Agree, on all counts. However, I really think Lisa and Eileen need to just drop it and move on. Kim's sobriety is indeed incredibly boring, and I wish they'd stop making it into such a big deal. I like both of them a lot, but that storyline has become incredibly dull.
