OP, Chipotle Lady, Psoriasis Lady, whatever you want to go by, I find it hilarious you claim to switch up details so your "friends" (doubtful you have any) and family can't tell that you're the poster or know anything about your life. But I guarantee you, they know something is "off" about you. You are a drama magnet because you have nothing else going on in your life. You, like most people who are drama magnets, bring all of your issues upon yourself, then play the victim. Your life sounds like a mess and that is not going to escape the attention of people who know you. So maybe they can't read your posts and immediately discern this Internet persona is you because you say you live somewhere "like Tysons" or eat somewhere "like Chipotle" but they DO know you and your life are a shambles and probably pity you and avoid you as much as possible. I already addressed that post. I stand for what I said. If holding a door or saying thanks to someone is now considered hard work to someone (and other people saying it's OK to be like that) it just comes to show us what a crappy world we're living in.

Plenty of people called me Chipotle lady and I laughed with them at it. There are plenty of ways to refer to people and some of you chose this way just because you know it hurts (literally).

DH explained that since the company doesn't support or stimulate the employees' academic achievements he needed the break to be able to finally finish school and get it out of his way so he could dedicate himself entirely to the company when (if) he returned.
DM understood and agreed, still he offered DH to do his job from home for fewer hours per week but we know exactly what it will turn out (and he said that to his manager) and unfortunately it would not be an option for him.
HR approved DH's leave. Part of it will be vacation, part of it will be personal days, and the rest will be unpaid leave.
DM got the hint that DH does not intend to go back after the leave and said that after all these years working together he completely understands how DH feels and said that DH is one of the very few people he would ever recommend. He asked DH if he could keep his info, asked DH to keep in touch and thanked DH.
A few hours later we got an email with an electronic giftcard of $200 as a gift for the birth of our child - not being ungrateful here, $200 is a lot of money and we're thankful for his generosity, but this is baby #2 and when #1 was born this guy didn't even give DH a call to say congratulations when DH put in the sick leave to stay at home the first few weeks.
Anyway, I think he's freaking out because he'll have to do DH and his job for a while. DH thinks he's being regretful.
Either way, we're both so excited with what is about to come in our lives. For the first time we'll be all together for more than 1 or 2 days at a time. We'll be able to have a routine, we'll finally have real quality time together and DH will have time to dedicate himself to something that gives him pleasure. We'll be able to exercise again, do real outings as a family, and maybe even read to them. How cool is that?

why does he need more schooling if he's so incredible in his field?
