Luka - i know it's a boy's name but the "a" ending throws me off and i always think "girl"

Josephine - girl
Phoenix - boy |
DH really wanted Tallulah for our youngest DD, funny to see it on this list. |
| Sebastian |
Isn't the more typical spelling Luca? Anyway, I agree. It bugs me about the name Ezra also. And Asa. But oddly, Noah and Micah and Jonah sound more masculine. Latest baby I heard about (didn't meet) was Auden. |
| Jonah |
I find this funny. The only Luca I know...is a dog. I didn't realize it was a 'people' name

I had a co-worker who named her baby Brooklyn. The worst part is that she told everyone it's where the baby was conceived...eewww. |
It's one of the evangelists. Luke (Loukas, greek origin). Just the italian spelling which, in my opinion, is more beautiful. I find naming your dog "luca" funny, didn't realize it was a "Pet" name. Then again, the last 2 babies I met were both named Max, which to me is a "dog's name," eventhough I love maximilian and would have named DS that, but DH objected because...it was a dog's name. |
| Sadie-which I also think of as a dogs name. As is Baily. . . |
Wasn't Luka the name of that hot Eastern European doctor on ER? |
| Garrett |
| Birch (boy) dumbest name ever! |
I'm pregnant and my 4 year old wants us to name the baby Tallulah....I have no idea where she heard the name! |
Yes! |
