Maybe 2013 but not 2010. Arguably the best 2010 this year, but they’ll have a new coach that will try to change the style of play and they were unable to add any difference makers. If they take another double digit loss in SD, players will leave in July.

Nobody is leaving - stop the hate and misinformation

The 2010 parents went around CW to the board to force his hand to withdraw the 2011 girl. Hopefully he does not dump the 2010 team before the fall season start (same thing he did last season with the 2011 team and that team ended up with LO). Don't be surprised if MV or DB end up coaching that the 2010 team in the fall.
DB is probably up for the challenge. Why does he get so much hate?

On VDA 2011 or VDA 2010? I believe the 2011 teams are being discussed you’re probably crazy Union 2010 parent that chimes in about VDA 2010 and writes on other forums about them.
all i know is that those vda teams are actually practicing together right now and will be better next year w that no days off mindset

Yes, people get replaced on rosters at any time once they are fully paid the club has zero accoutability to them. I have no issue with clubs as a policy not doing this practice of adding/changing end of year rosters. Its the lack of consistency across teams from club to club and year to year that makes it difficult to understand and digest. Fortunately with DCUM you can call it out too, to steer future consumers from problematic parent groups puppeteerng from the shadows. Fact is all the top clubs nationally do this becuase this is how real winning soccer teams function. And they are getting exposure so that the outcomes are quality college soccer players not more transfers who are mismatched and underperforming if they ever even get the chance to play.

So Bethesda doesn’t get pod 1 even though they won conference cup?

Winning your league is pretty amazing but certainly there’s an incentive to come in second or third to play slightly easier teams. Especially if you’re coming from the mid Atlantic or North Atlantic or Northeast, and having to play the winners of the California and Texas leagues.

How so? I don’t know how seedlings are done at playoffs so I’m genuinely asking

Yeah no, this makes zero sense. Pod 1 teams would not play each other until the round of 16 at the earliest. The 8th place team in SW is a pod 4 team and theoretically worse than mid A pod team. But we all know that’s not true. Stop putting NA in the same sentence as mid A and NE. PDA and PF alone may be best two programs on the east coast. NA is miles superior to the rest of the east coast. Midwest is more comparable

Cup just gets you automatic playoff spot, which they needed after finishing 5th. They will be a pod 4 team. This is where it gets interesting cause some cocky pod 1 team is going to be for a rude awakening if they overlook BSC.

almost all FVU is not practicing until August. no meetings no plan so far. Other ECNL and MLSNext clubs in the area are starting their practices next week. No training over the summer and two practices per week during season, no wonder they are at the bottom.

People need a break, people go on vacation, starting next week seems a bit early. Mid July makes more sense. 2 trainings per week seems false.
