Right? Isn’t Jesus “calling them home”?

If she’s truly brain dead she’s been home with the Lord since her brain death.

You can sneer at people of faith all you want. It doesn’t make us any less faithful and it doesn’t make you any more likable

I do sneer at you and your warped, Gilead mentality. Not to mention hypocrisy. You gonna foot the bill for this woman's healthcare? Or sit there and watch her die? No? Then you need to stfu b/c you're neither faithful nor likable. In fact, you are not christian at all.

Her husband should probably divorce her so the medical bills go to the by then deceased lady. I hope they are receiving legal help in this matter. The whole matter is terrifying and I feel terrible for the family.

+1 The family is not going to be responsible for the medical bills. The woman is not married.

The abortion law has nothing to do with it.
The family suspects even after birth, they will not be allowed to shut off life support. There is a different law in Georgia about advanced directives, and she didn't provide one.

There was an earlier report that as a nurse she knew these types of medical situations happen and thus indeed had an AD.

What does that have to do with anything? Medical bullets came after me for my parents bills. I'm sure they will come after whatever estate she has, so her actual living child gets nothing to help his 7 year old life.

Medical bullets?

This woman is a rn and works at Emory, correct? She has health insurance. Parents and other family members are not held responsible for her medical bills.

So, did you pay your parents bills? credit card bills, medical bills? You paid for your parents what kind of bills? Explain.

Family members are not responsible for medical debt.
