Will anyone in Congress ever be tarred and feathered?

This establishment creature is behaving as if everything is normal as Trump craps on our allies, cozies up to authoritarian criminals, ignores ethics laws and dismantles federal agencies. And now this vote to support the Republican budget which has no clear logic.

Dump Chuck and find a minority leader for the Democrats who can lead the party into an effective resistance to the chaos and stupidity of the Trump administration.

I think the focus needs to stay on the corruption of Trump and Musk. No diversions.

That's a good start but it's not enough. Voters need to here a unified, coherent message of contrast of what Dems offer, not just what sucks about Trump.

Economy. Healthcare. Schools, Housing. Shoring up social security and medicare. And F the rich 1% and their tax cuts. NOT popular.
And yes, voters need to hear from Democrats about border security and the answer is NOT "open borders."

Dump Chuck for Cory Booker? He's definitely got the message and the stamina. Chuck just stood by and watched.

I think you'll find this quite hard to do. Chuck Schumer is VERY respected.

He's also 75 years old and not very visible/inspiring these days. He should step aside before someone pushes him out because he's not up for the job like happened with Biden.

By whom? Certainly not by his constituents, and not by the Americans who have to watch him lead their political party into oblivion.

Incorrect. Imo, until the house is cleaned, a lot of voters will not return. The will not return to the tent.
We need the great return.

Don’t look under here. Don’t put your glasses on. Don’t look at the fact that our last president was so mentally out of it that the Democrats had to slide in his VP and “see what happens.” The DEMS acted horribly. It was intentional

Maybe he was a long time ago, but he has worn out his welcome. He needs to go away.

He can be respected and his time still be done. Mentor, train, advise, listen. The winds of change out upon us and Schumer needs to listen. It’s time for him and quite frankly several others (on both sides) to go. If they still want to be involved in politics they can do so in other ways.

Well he is not respected by AIPAC or the finance bros. Schumer is a low level lackey for those guys.

Liar. They’ve been in bed together for decades.

I think democrats try too hard to find their messiah. They spend an inordinate amount of energy on it.

What they should do is hatch a plan like project 2025 and commit to it. This would require all democrats to abandon their braggadocious ways. The problem is the dem party is filled with young adults and they tend to have less humility and be more self absorbed. Which makes it extremely difficult to stay committed to a long term plan. This is where religious minded people excel and secularists/ atheists type minds fail.

Hence why the GOP is at the moment reigning supreme and the DNC is in shambles.

Did you mean to ascribe the term braggadocious to Trump? Because that’s literally all he is. We see this troll post for what it is. Religious people as a whole are not humble. In fact if they could actually humble themselves before God and others they would ceast trying to legislate all their behavior and beliefs and leave that up to God.
