What a worthless party. Really sad today.

I sent an email and left a voicemail letting him know that if they do this I would activrly support and campaign for his primary opponent. I don't expect it to matter. I'm not a billionaire.

And now this vote to support the Republican budget which has no clear logic.

Dump Chuck and find a minority leader for the Democrats who can lead the party into an effective resistance to the chaos and stupidity of the Trump administration.

Well. As you seem to know everything whom do you recommend?

Chris Murphy of Connecticut has been articulate on what Democrats need to do to counter Trump. And at age 50-he’s an entirely different generation from Schumer and Trump

How did we end up with such useless worms supposedly 'fighting' for us? I am so, so disgusted.

At this point why call or email the Dems? The senate democrats have chosen their action. We asked them to fight. They chose to align with Trump and the destruction of the government.

What a betrayal. I will not vote for democrats. F them.

Yes, Dump Schumer, Trump and several dozen other "leaders" in Federal Government that are much too old to trusted as competent. This is called common sense.

Murphy, Gallego, Van Hollen - frankly almost anyone. Someone new to that role would have to prove themselves and that would doing something and exerting some energy. Chuck is like a "retired in place" worker

DP. Chris Murphy. AOC can run for the senate seat and then run the two for 2028. I prefer her in top, only because I’m not sure she’d take the VP.

Why?

A shutdown would have awarded the Dems zero points and gotten them no leverage. Let the GOP burn the country down and immolate themselves. Dems should stop saving people from their stupidity and give it to them. The peoel voted for this, now let them have it. If they get disruptions to science, uncontrollable measles and cuts to their social security so billionaires can have tax breaks, oh well. Give it to em.

Schumer makes some good points that a shutdown would give trump and musk what they want - more power to get rid of government employees. They can furlough people and never bring them back. The NY Times has an opinion piece by him that details this.

Haven’t you learned? America is not going to vote for a female president.
