Trump found Guilty on all charges!

More idiots in trailers giving away their pensions to a convicted felon! Every comment from a tRumper on this thread shows just how ignorant you all are. It's pathetic really.

It’ll help Trump pay his unreasonable! I am sure Trump would do the same for these folks!

Trump will still win. If he gets pardoned it will be a bloodbath voting wise.

Most of Americans polled see this is a Stalinist show trial.

Can you explain how Trump is a political dissident?

Worst is looking a law breaking criminal and assuming that consequences coming for him is “law fare.” You sound bat crap crazy, as you have every time you’ve flung that word around.

+1. There's no political persecution here. There was a trial by jury of his peers that found the evidence compelling and the defendant guilty unanimously. And he's currently facing three more trials in other states for other felony charges. I guess you only believe in the legal system when "your side wins". What's actually shocking is that we do have a two tiered justice system and people like Trump rarely ever get held to account even when they should. All it took was a jury believing that 34 of 88 criminal charges so far were true beyond a reasonable doubt.

And for the record, feel free to charge Biden with whatever "crimes" he may have committed. If he's guilty, he should be held accountable by a trial by jury. Wait, the House can't even bring themselves to put forth the actual charges against him in the impeachment inquiry? Why is that? You need to do some soul searching and realize you've backed a twice impeached, convicted rapist and felon.

This. Dems need to remember what happened to Bill Clinton’s political stock after the special prosecution. But most people who post here are irrational partisan hacks with no critical thinking skills.

Except Bill Clinton was an actual genius who also left our economy in the best shape it's ever been in.

Still wouldn't vote for him today because character matters.

And Donnie is not a genius. He can barely read and is either too lazy or has ADHD too strong to be able to do the work of the president. Unlike Clinton who was famously a workhorse. Donnie had famously short "work" hours (remember his daily "executive time" in the morning? probably code for sitting on toilet tweeting while watching Fox News) and refused to read the daily briefs, asking instead for pictograms.

You can't deny that because we can come back with the receipts to prove it. As in, the president has his work hours published and we can show them to you.

Needless to say, at this point I will be voting Trump.

Its always amusing reading the comments of people who lack basic civics education and understanding of democratic norms , use terms they clearly know nothing about. Using terms like banana republic doesn't make you smart.
FYI: In France, former president Nicolas Sarkozy spent two nights in a police precincts after being indicted on a corruption case. If you don't like the rule-of-law upon which countries have tried to built their stability and prosperity, you can always buy a one-way ticket to Moscow.

Italy, France, Israel, Argentina, South Korea, Pakistan, etc.

Holding former presidents/prime ministers accountable for unlawful conduct is a very normal thing across the globe. USA is a long time coming to such normalcy - we should have prosecuted Nixon and not set a precedent of giving former presidents a pass.

It's true. We've seen this with the blatant corruption of the Roberts' Supreme Court, particularly with Thomas and Alito. I'm glad you agree that we should hold our courts to the highest ethical standards.

You got that right. I just got a text from my “incensed” father in Georgia. A lifelong democrat who said he’s “done with the corruption” and is voting for Trump. Never voted for a Republican that I can remember

Yes, I am sure a life long democrat who voted twice against Trump, followed this trial and found Trump was witch-hunted.

Please.

Nobody knows what will happen with this.

Bill Clinton was not convicted of felonies, it was a completely different scenario because it was basically about an affair, which was forgiven for Trump many times over.

Independent voters do not like the idea of a felon for president, and the fact that it was a jury verdict has a very different sway.

It’s not just this trial, which yes he did seem to follow with some odd interest. I think the trial was the last straw.

Riiiiiight. And out of the trial that he did follow carefully, he came away with the conclusion that Trump was innocent. Uh huh.

He came away with the conclusion that the charges were invalid to begin with.

Well dear old dad isn't very smart, is he? The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!

NP. You are looking at this incorrectly. Biden has not existed in a bubble - there have been many other issues during his presidency that could easily lead the pp’s father to consider this trial ‘icing’

Legal minds agree that the defense lost because they followed Trump's directive in how to defend the case, by attacking and denying.

Goes to show that following Trump makes you a loser. He is not a smart man. He acts out based on his pure id, he cannot control himself. Who wants a president with such little self-regulation, who can't control his own behavior? Bad news.

Is he also a big, burly man who went to Trump with tears in his eyes and said "Sir..."

I don’t know how this happened but somehow Trump has become MLK Jr. and Joe Biden is Bull Connor. OK, I understand that Joe was probably on Bull Connor’s side back in 1963 but Trump as MLK? That is where we are.

I’m the new poster who said that your Dad probably saw this as icing on the cake, i.e. the last straw. Makes excellent sense.

For now, the talking point is ‘convicted felon’. Ther are others that feel the same as your father and Biden using this talking point is simply going to increase Trump’s lead.
