Project 2025 if Trump were to win

Does it mean most voters are nut jobs? Or just that this forum is an extreme bubble?

Remember the problem with polling: who answers phones.

For most politicians in the US, the answer is, "no, of course not"

It shouldn't be hard...and yet...

This is hilarious. There is a reason "rupar" is an entry in the Urban Dictionary.
"A lying sack of sh*t who deceives people for a living, in the name of his political ideology. Every word that comes out of his mouth is a lie."
https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=rupar

Let's see what he actually said in answer to the question.....

So, he is actually planning to use his Executive authority to overturn all Biden's mistakes.
If that is being a "dictator," I'll take it.

Hey, sweetheart. If you’d actually watched both clips, you’d know that your quote is from a different part of the interview.

The quotes Aaron Rupar pulled are complete and exactly as he represents them.

This will be an outstanding and competent Cabinet on behalf of the American people and global security.

I’m glad you put (sarcasm) on there because with the way the Republican posters on this site are, they would think that was an acceptable group.

Yes I agree Trump is a disaster but I just find it hard to believe all this project 2025 stuff. Maybe some nut jobs are planning it but they won’t be able to execute it.

What do you find "a bit unrealistic" about it?

It truly fascinates me that people will simply dismiss this possibility out of hand when we have ample evidence in the form of things Trump actually DID:

-deploying anonymous federal forces in DC
-directing OMB not to release transition funds
-signing the Executive Order for Schedule F
-firing Mark Esper at DOD, firing James Comey, firing Jeff Sessions

as well as things he tried to do:

-steal an election
-firing Gina Haspel at CIA
-blackmail the President of Ukraine,
-install loyalists at all levels of government

and then say things like, "this is unrealistic," or this is fear-mongering. If you truly believe that then I urge you to wake up.

I have a feeling that all the people that are sitting around thinking none of the above applies to them may end up with a very rude wake up call when they find out that they aren't as insulated as they think.

Don't forget that he also publicly called on Russia to spy on a political opponent.

I would love to see a defense of the plan as well, And the fact that there isn't one is quite a tell. It sounds like there are a bunch of Christian Fascists who are perfectly happy to destroy what we all know of the USA.

Please they voted for him in the 2020 election when the GOP literally had no platform. This is of no concern to them. They trust that the Trump and his cronies will restore America, and sadly that's enough thinking for them.

White liberals are diagnosed with mental illnesses more than any other sub group by a wide margin.

“White liberals” don’t call themselves patriots while supporting a man who tried to overthrow an election and incited his followers to storm the US Capitol.

And she resumed the 2020 Election lies straight after the court case …

What kind of cynical madness is this?

Challenging elections and demanding proof votes are proven to be legitimate is patriotism. Ballot verification has been stonewalled due to the horrible implications of the truth.

Maybe you missed the part where a number of the conspirators, including Sydney Powell, plead guilty to lying about the voter fraud?

Yes - And she resumed the 2020 Election lies straight after the court case … for political reasons even though she knew the claims were false. Lynn Cheney’s book details how many Republican leaders knew the election fraud claims were themselves fraudulent and yet continued to pander to Trump even after the violent insurrection.

What kind of cynical madness is this?

Trump and his cult followers have utter gall referring to truth as if they have any relationship with it.

Trump thinks he’s braver than the military for showing up to a debate.

Did that (lying) LWNJ poster ever return to provide citations and quotes about "rounding up black people into camps"? No? How surprising!

We did. I did. You ignored the post. Or, rather, you struggle with things like implications, thinking critically and drawing conclusions based on a series of past actions and promised words.

Furthermore, if you knew what thread you were on, you’d know that the GOP is supportive of everything like that.

But if you’re a Republican, you can sure ignore it! Truly how many Republican voters will not read, hear or be told of this and will accuse Democrats of making it up?

But they’re pretty hardcore ignoring this thread.

At least some of them think they’re “lying for the Lord.” It never occurs to them that they’re instead “dissembling for the devil.”

So brave. He shoved and grabs and assaults women that he probably has 100 pounds on.

But he always insults the military. Suckers and losers is what they are.
