Disagree. The volume of paintings is kind of overwhelming, especially since most are unremarkable. Seeing the Mona Lisa (and all the people crowding to take pictures) was unexciting, though the painting across the room (depicting the wedding at Cana) is a masterpiece.

I enjoyed Orsay a lot more, which has an extraordinary collection of well-known impressionist paintings.

Orsay is lovely and manageable, but to say the works in the Louvre are unremarkable speaks of great ignorance. It’s understandable not to enjoy a museum because you don’t care for that particular type of art, and being overwhelmed by sheer volume is a turn off for many people (even art connoisseurs), but to say the Louvre has unremarkable art is just wrong. Please educate yourself and move a little beyond the brief era of Impressionists.

True! We also walked on the moon first, gave birth to greats like Albert Einstein and Elton John. We don't need other countries' opinions on us. And we are the most qualified to judge globally as we have the most neutral, highest view of all nine continents.

France does have a king: the heir to the House of Bourbon. The current government is not legitimate and we should refuse to recognize them.

Hey, people like different things and that's okay! I don't like having to lug all my own beach gear including a shade out to the beach for the day. I could do that at OBX for much cheaper. I have greatly enjoyed enjoyed beautiful luxury beach resorts all over SE Asia, and I'm asking if the Amalfi coast is at all similar, or if not, what other factors make it a great destination?

The Louvre has like 5,000 paintings. Most are not that well-known and are largely forgettable. I wish they would focus on the fraction that are among the most famous artworks instead of bundling everything together in a somewhat unsightly manner.

The definition of ignorance is “lack of knowledge or information.” Do you have an issue with proper word usage, or did you assign an incorrect definition to the word, then make a judgement based on that?
