SJC boosters just make themselves look more and more idiotic with all these crazy lies they tell themselves. Just one example……Prep doesn’t even take the HSPT, they take the SSAT. |
It’s between Trig (BW), Salomon (TC), and Ince (NL). Rumor says they are looking to extend an offer before August 1. |
My vote would be for Ince. |
Trig? They can’t be serious. After what he did at SJC and his other issues? That is not a good hire. |
Prep accepts results from both tests |
They require the SSAT. |
That would be disturbing if he was hired |
"It’s between Trig (BW), Salomon (TC), and Ince (NL).
Rumor says they are looking to extend an offer before August 1." Solomon, the current Head Coach at Madison would be an excellent hire. |
Background check?? |
What did he do at SJC? |
Prep requires the SSAT. They do not accept the HSPT as part of the required admissions process. I am sure you can submit it if you want, they won’t reject it or penalize an applicant for submitting, but it is not counted as a standardized test. They require applicants submit SSAT results. People on here talk out of their a$$ so much and really have no idea what they are talking about. SJC and Gonzaga require HSPT, it is a different level of standardized test. |
The real issue was his time at SSSAS |
I assume that Trig is not a serious candidate given his past, but the other two would be great hires. They had better hire someone real fast and he had better hit the ground running in recruiting. The 2027 class has few or no lacrosse players, and they need to make it up in the 2028 class. If they have two empty classes in a row it would set the program back a long way. |
Really I guess the PP has never been a coach? The new coach should be worried about 2027 and 2028 class? That is what you think? How about trying to actually be a coach? Can he make the 2024-2026 players better? Too many coaches in private schools think it is all recruiting that does not say anything for being a good coach. The old PVI coach did great last year did he recruit? The top kids in Loudoun will go to PVI. Focus on building a good culture and getting buy in from the players. Run a solid system. That is a lost art I guess. |
Competing at the level that PVI desires the things that you describe, AND recruiting good players in every class. It is not an either/or proposition. |
