Also, and this really bothered me: giant corporations don’t have to all of a sudden draft a statement when their old CEO dies. You don’t think Fox News has a very clear plan for what happens if Rupert Murdoch dies in a bathroom? Of course they do! The idea that anyone would be scrambling or improvising made no sense.

The scene with Kerry was the best scene. Both on the plane and getting into the car.

It makes sense because this was Logan Roy, who planned to never die. He never would have let anyone draft a statement.

Eh, it was his wedding day. They didn't really get a chance to say bye to him either. Shiv was talking to him and he was probably dead (unless Tom was lying to be nice)

I thought it was interesting when Roman was clearly looking for that maternal/protective thing from Gerry towards the end of the episode and she just walks away because she was still mad at him for firing her. It was sad because roman seemed like a little kid in this episode, but also I don't really blame Gerry.

I had the exact same reaction. Roman was just a lost puppy almost the whole episode, and this really topped it off. Logan was really twisted to make Roman fire Gerri. I really wanted Roman to just say no. All these little loyalty tests.

Just like Logan's absence and then death overshadowed Connor's TV wedding, it's overshadowing all the talk about the episode. I wanted he and Willa to go ahead with the wedding, kind of as a way to thumb their noses at Logan, who wasn't even going to show up (!) but then there are maybe five guests left to actually see them get married. That was really sad. I'm always rooting for Connor to wake up and realize that he ought to get some massive therapy and step away from his toxic family. And even though Willa doesn't love him she seems to care for him. They could really make a go of this.

Are we going to find out Logan changed his will to give Kerry something meaningful (especially Waystar shares)? Especially if it turns out it happened that last day, after he had the fight with the kids and told them they are not serious people? That would be interesting to watch play out.

On Kerry - I didn't see everyone on the plane acting like she hit the jackpot?

The next episode looks like it will focus on who is name CEO. I believe the last thing we know about that is that it's supposed to be Gerri "on paper."

I predict Logan left his voting shares to Marcia, who may or may not show up next episode, but I think that comes out in the will.

There was a shot when Kerri was getting into the car with Collin and Tom in the background. I think that’s a snapshot of those people who become irrelevant bc they chose to only get close to Logan.

They were all there for Logan not Connor. They left when they found out about Logan. It looked like Connor was ok with that when he got married. Hopefully his character finds peace now that his dad is gone.

Agree. I’m glad Connor went through with the wedding, it shows him coming around to not live under his dad anymore.
