Oh we've already established why she's on this show. But I don't think she realized likability is crucial for influencer status, so she won't end up with much. Except Josh, heh.

In the first seasons we were able to see much more of the pod connections and failures. This time we barely learned anything about people who didn't get engaged and learned almost nothing of someone like Josh who then later becomes a major character. I would have loved to see more of his dates with Jackie and other women. And also more of Jackie's dates in general. This side of her character just seemed to have come out of nowhere.

The side where she's ghetto and low-class?

Look, I don’t like Jackie at all either. But if she weren’t a brown person, would you call her ghetto? Do you refer to Irina as ghetto? Weird.

And she should definitely give the ring back.

Irina, as annoying as she is, speaks correctly.

So what’s your definition of ghetto?

The question remains, if Jackie were white would you call her ghetto?

My definition of ghetto is speaking like this:

The color of the person's skin is irrelevant. Speaking like this is a choice. Makes her come across as illiterate, crass, and low-class in addition to being a horrible person. That's my definition of ghetto.

So ridiculous and weird.

I feel like she used him to make herself feel/look sexy.

A selfish narcissist.

She is not even pretty.

I'm not going to lie, that scene felt way too Southern Belle/Mandingo for my liking.
Because he's so clearly not into her it felt like she was using him as a prop.

Anonymous wrote:Omg the first scene with Kwame and Chelsea shopping is so incredibly uncomfortable. She is completely tone deaf, and I've been team Chelsea all along. Why are they clothes shopping? Her asking, "could it get any hotter in here?" When he so clearly isn't feeling it. Feeding strawberries, he says no, she insists. So weird. I feel like she wants to portray this super put-together persona regardless of what's going on around her.

I think that she's desperate and smitten with him. I think they had sex too soon and she's not thinking clearly. Meanwhile, Kwame is desperately looking for a way out.

I don't think for a second they're actually in love with each other. And she is domineering and annoying. I'll be relieved when their storyline is done.

My impression is there isn't much depth to the relationship. She wants to be in love, and likes him well enough for him to be the one. He is pretty detached, weird she's not clued in to that.

I think he received a particular edit and they will be the surprise.

She can have Zach, but can I have her mom? Such a sweetheart.

Her dad and his crew though? It all balances out.

Eh, I didn't think her Dad was that bad. He's just being realistic. He wasn't rude or unreasonable.

I thought he crossed the line to rudeness. He wasn't remotely nice or welcoming to Zach. Stepmom wisely kept her mouth shut, I suppose. What was with the sister with mirrored shades on in the house?

Bliss’s dad was absolutely rude. He wouldn’t let anyone talk. I don’t blame him for not approving this marriage, though. I wouldn’t either. I would, however, try not to embarrass myself on Netflix.

And you could tell Bliss was used to "handling" his rude comments. Poor girl.
