We don’t know if Ms. Woods knew all the details about his past indiscretions. She claims there was an oral tenancy agreement. We also don’t know what lines of bullish!t he promised. The new allegations might swing in her favor.

I don't think it's extortion. For one, he extracted a lot value from her and from being seen as stable and sober with her. And she simply wants out of the NDA. It's one thing to have an NDA for a brief romantic fling, it's another to not be able to talk about most of your 30s. And how do you know what he promised her to keep her under his thumb? What if she tried to move out and buy her own house and he said don't worry about a house, you can stay here even if we break up. Don't worry about a career, you're a millionaire.
