Argh she won.

Polling had her 20-30 points ahead. So I guess she underperformed a little, but this one was never in any doubt. For reasons unknown, AIPAC did not target her.

Most likely they decided that her lead was too wide and they decided their money was spent elsewhere (like KO'ing Bush).

+1 Both Bush and Bowman had other problems besides their support for Israel so they were easy targets.

Duh, I meant LACK OF support for Israel obviously.

My in-laws’ district. Anna Maria Luna is a MAGA nightmare with Santos-level resume lies, so this seems good.

I disagree. I think they will lose the house due to Trump. Trump has taken his campaign war chest to pay his own legal fees and legal expenses. He then embezzled the RNC coffers to pay for his election campaign. And that leaves no money from the RNC to help down ballot races. Winnable seats are being lost because candidates cannot afford to compete with advertising and campaign messaging with their opponents. These candidates only have the funds that their own campaigns have raised as the national party is not helping them out, in fact, cannot afford to help them out, thanks to Laura Trump.

So, they will likely lose the White House and possibly even both chambers of Congress because of Trump.

Republicans need to blame Trump. I supposed that they could say they only have themselves to blame because they refused to stand up and select a better option than a convicted criminal, sexual predator, financial fraud and poor candidate for their national ticket, then enabling him to steal from them.

It’s both. Most of the House GOP has spent their year and a half in the majority doing Trump’s bidding and trying to help his campaign rather than governing.

If I am reading this right, Sherrod Brown and Tester are woefully behind and will more likely than not lose their Senate seats?

Sherrod will win. He’s running agains a used car salesman (apologies to used car salesman). I think Tester will squeak by but its rough.

I'm not optimistic about Tester - he has never had to run in the same year Trump was on the ballot.
