What a weird take.

You missed the point of the thread entirely, then got really bitter and mean about your own made up thing. Dumb and angry is no way to go through life.

No, I get the point of this thread. These sort of threads litter this website and they draw in the same strivers who think they're experts on how to appear rich and high class. It's frankly pathetic.

You’re really projecting and totally miss the point.

This thread is decidedly not about the Bourgeois, it’s about the very poor or very rich. It’s the bourgeois that would *never* do the things the poor or really rich do that overlap or appear the same. The bourgeois are focused on conformity. Someone upthread assumed you were an associate. If so you are likely living a bourgeois life and would never do something eccentric etc. get it now?

Rich people don’t care if you think they’re classy or not. In fact we deliberately try to make you think we’re poor. DCUM is hilarious

True. It’s neglect when poor people do it. It’s “underparenting” when wealthy people do it.

Nah. Every class does this. I know tons of middle/upper middle class guys who bike (sorry, “cycle”) both for pleasure and for transportation.

Starving/underweight
For poor, it’s hunger. For rich, it’s enviably thin.

Obviously smoking. It's totally ok if you spend money on cigars and a smoking room but cigarettes are totally trashy.
