Pardon? From who?

Whichever republican is elected in 2024.

DP.. he may eventually get a pardon, but 2024 is 2 yrs away. His jail time starts way before then.

Which will be a couple years from now if he has learned anything from the Trump playbook. His friends in the House will probably try to help him out in his appeal too if they take over. They could withdraw the subpoena, or vote that the Jan. 6 committee was illegal, etc.

Of course they could withdraw the subpoena, and if they take over the House the committee won’t exist anymore. It still doesn’t change the whole DOJ part of this thing.

It creates lots of new appellate issues that will take even more time to sort out.

But on what basis would he appeal? He claims "executive privilege" but he was not in the WH when 1/6 occurred. So, what would the appeal be about?

lawyers must be loving all these lawsuits. At least it's the Trump cult that's paying for it.

Susan McDougal served 18 months for defying a subpoena from Republicans. Surely Bannon can manage four.
