Wheat is the last year to get Party Girl role? Level 2? Level 3?

My DD was cast as a Party Girl. She is in Level 4A. . They did audition 4As for all three roles - Party Girl/Boy, Soldier, Clown.

Oh thanks so much for posting this! You will give hope to a level 3 kid. (And congratulations to your daughter, I hope she loves it!)

Did anyone's roles change today? I was curious about that email reminding about the commitment, as well.

I'm curious too.
Also does the A/B grouping have anything to do with ability? Or is that just to separate to smaller groups?

No problem. And I did read about the Party Girl role and quite frankly we aren’t big donors or have any special connections. We just come to class, do what is requested and that’s it. My DD is the shortest in her class and very petite, so maybe sizewise she was too small for the clown and soldier costumes. She did want Clown, but is just happy to be back to dancing in person and being part of the whole production. Wishing all TWSB students a great year ahead.

Was anyone else late tonight? Please tell me I wasnt the only one! With the rain and more than usual crazy traffic. DD was so pissed at me. She said everyone was waiting on her. I feel terrible.

We were on time, but DD said tons of people were late and 2 didn't show.

Uh oh. Sounds like a rough start. Hopefully it gets better from here.

A / B grouping is random, has nothing to do with ability. It's just the split the group.

Concur- the webinar recording discusses the grouping is just about splitting up and possible differences in height but not ability. My DD is partnered with someone about her height in her group.

Group A usually has the “best” cast ruby. That’s the cast that always has Julie Kent’s daughter and goes to the tea party.

My daughter has been in the same cast as Julie's daughter 2 years back to back, different roles. First year she was group A. Second year group B.

DD was a snow angel in 2019, was in group B and in Ruby.

I also wouldn't be surprised if it all the A's and B's didn't end up in the same cast. For example, I think its conceivable that when they are making a cast it could include Snow Angels from Group A and Soldiers from Group B etc

Wow, I remember when my DC was at TWSB, and I was so focused on this.

Now DC is doing mathnasium after school and on weekends.

I miss the magic, though.

It's all consuming, right??
Feels like such high stakes for the kiddos!

Anyone else's stuff disappear off the Parent Portal today?
I tried to check the rehearsal schedule for next weekend, and the info is gone. Not sure if this is an everyone problem or a 'just my kid" problem
