This was DD's last year/chance to be Party Girl and there were some tears. A good friend of hers got Party Girl this year for the second time. We might move to MYB after this year, their Nutcracker is much smaller but it's still a beautiful production and is more student focused.
Wheat is the last year to get Party Girl role? Level 2? Level 3?
My DD was cast as a Party Girl. She is in Level 4A. . They did audition 4As for all three roles - Party Girl/Boy, Soldier, Clown.
Oh thanks so much for posting this! You will give hope to a level 3 kid. :) (And congratulations to your daughter, I hope she loves it!)
No problem. And I did read about the Party Girl role and quite frankly we aren’t big donors or have any special connections. We just come to class, do what is requested and that’s it. My DD is the shortest in her class and very petite, so maybe sizewise she was too small for the clown and soldier costumes. She did want Clown, but is just happy to be back to dancing in person and being part of the whole production. Wishing all TWSB students a great year ahead.
