If Romney wins will he fulfill promises to the Tea Party to cut Federal spending (and thus cut thousands of metro jobs)? |
Yes |
More importantly, would it mean my husband could get a sister-wife who could do all the chores and take care of the kids? |
no all republicans increase federal spending...look at the last few we have had. |
spending would be shifted from welfare and public assistance to military, security and defense contracting. |
Isn't he eliminating the mortgage interest deduction? |
no, more hope and fail koolaid spewing lies, here is what he said http://www.nationaljournal.com/2012-presidential-campaign/romney-says-he-might-eliminate-hud-ax-mortgage-deduction-for-rich-20120416 |
Its gone under Romney |
We can only hope so. |
wrong moron |
Oddly, doesn't the opposite occur? Historically, the size of the fed gov't under Republican leadership actually expands while it contracts under Democrats. The parties disagree about "where" govt should be big....Dems - health and education..Republicans ..defense. When Republicans are in office they seem to be able to reallocate larger amounts to defense than Dems in reallocating to health and education. Defense dollars also translate into money for key areas building weapons and equipment, defense contractors in this area, and military bases. Health and education dollars end up going back to the states. Again, its ironic considering the Republican shrink federal govt platform and the Dems depend less on the state platform. |
This. Republicans don't cut spending. They instead shift it in the ways set out above. Remember GWB? |
Might deserve its own spinoff post! LOL. |
I love how this budget deal is Obama's fault. He made us vote for it! |
