Would a Romney win affect DC metro home prices in any way?

And the deficit would keep growing.

OP here. Sounds like real estate prices would rise from a Romney win, while Maryland (with NIH and such) might dip.

Just curious because it seems many Republicans in the metro live in Va. while Democrats often choose to live in Maryland.

Though my theory may be hogwash.

It would probably increase the price of some houses in Chev Chase as rich R political appointees move in. The D politicos then to be in Bethesda.

Don't count on it
Romney win is looking more unlikely

Gee when Clinton left office, unemployment was at 3.9%. It doesn't sound like there are that many unemployable people around. What did Bush do to change that?

I take it you're being sarcastic.

If not, here's a quick, factual rundown on what Bush did:

"The problems we inherited were far worse than most inside and out of government had expected; the recession was deeper than most inside and out of government had predicted. Curing those problems has taken more time and a higher toll than any of us wanted."

Ronald Reagan, 1983 State of the Union Speech.

The R will start the gravy train backup. It will be like the bush years on steroids. They don't care about the debt, just that Obama is president. They did not yell about the debt till thy lost.
