I am very impressed that the staffer was polite and handled this horrible person with respect and kindness.
Hopefully this video goes viral and this professor will be reprimanded by the University. |

She handled herself very well. He wasn't as bad to her face-to-face as I thought he was going to be based on his comments to the camera in the car before arriving at the drive-through window (ugh, self-satisfied jerk! Hate those self-important types). I thought much of what he said to the employee was reasonable but he was way over the line when he went on about how she shouldn't work at such a hateful organization. He doesn't know the first thing about her or why she works there. He lost the chance to get her support (probably quiet support but support nevertheless) by acting like a jerk.
Never treat the employees as if they are the ones making the objectionable decisions. Say: "I realize that you don't make the policy but would you please pass it on to your superior that I think it's wrong." |

In my experience as someone on the other side of the debates, I have always found that people who are gay / lesbian are far more respectful than their straight supporters. I have had a number of great calm, respectful discussions about various topics with people who are gay. When I try and have the same discussion with straight supporters they tend to get rude and disrespectful and resort to put down and name calling and the discussion goes nowhere. |

He was not courteous. It is unfair to ambush someone at work and film them against their consent. If he wanted to have a true dialogue with someone who works at Chick-fil-A he could have asked to talked to them. I would not approve of a conservative using this tactic or in this case a liberal. It was a jerky move. |

I didn't hear or observe that girl saying any such thing. She's an hourly employee who was trying to do her job. Whatever we might think about Chick Fil A or its owner, the man in this video was way out of line. |
