They don’t need fan support. They need to stop being thirsty narcissists. But unfortunately that generally can’t be undone.

JLo's mom raises her grandkids. Ben does do shit with regards to the kids.

Ben and jlos 5 kids are probably like anyone else’s only child. How often do you think they’re actually around their kids? With jlos schedule ben has probably more than doubled his commitments and time away.

And she was playing mom and her kids were playing step siblings to Arod’s for years- and heavily during the pandemic. All reports about how cozy she was with A-Rods kids blah blah.

Now those steps are dumped and it’s Affleck’s kids.

That's a lot of pressure to keep this marriage going no matter how much he sinks into his addictions and prior behavior.

The appeal is that he effectively dumped her/made her exit the relationship 20 years ago and it killed her inside that he didn’t change for her. He was a hot, handsome, successful movie star who gave her attention and made her feel validated. Jennifer garner once said that Bens attention is like the sun shining down on you, but when he rotates, it’s cold and lonely (or something like that.) narcissists like that drag you down with them and make you crave their approval. It probably made her feel great that he never got over her, or that’s what he was saying

Yup, he love bombed her at a vulnerable moment when she was reeling from the Arod cheating and trying to accept their "happy blended family" was ending. Forgetting everything she damn well should have learned by now (cheating addicts don't change, don't rush straight from one relationship to the other a la Ben to Marc Anthony last time), she dove headfirst into this foolhardy relationship. Stupid, stupid, stupid. I agree with those who say she'll hang in there as long as humanly possible, definitely years, because it will be so hard for her to let go of this "one true love" narrative she created.

Then her + Ben’s body language at the Grammys was just awful.

He looked so miserable sitting next to her & I suspect he was inebriated too.
