From the post below yours, evidently there are some wine moms in the 2029 early sweepstakes crew also. |
Indeed, and I think the truth lies in the middle. The college coaches haven’t even begun thinking about recruiting 2029s, but many do know who the better 2029s are already through various means. |

I bet the wine Moms are the Moms of the 2029 party girls!

College coaches just began looking at 28s. |
Sorry, I can’t give a lengthy rebuttal now because I have to take my 29 to SAT prep class. |
| Anyone go to the Capital baller showcase today? How was it? |
All of the 29s went that coaches are not looking at. |
Don’t forget about the 2030s who were there and also getting looks. Then, after the Capital Baller clinic the coaches went over to the Tiny Explorers Preschool to check out the 2039s who were doing a cradling clinic. Coaches are playing an extremely long game these days. |
| Ridiculous they had 2030s there. Capital must be hurting to go that deep for a showcase event. Probably not fair to the 28s who my daughter said were playing with the 30 and 29 kids. |
| Sounds like she was outshined |
That sounds terrible for the 2028’s. Were the schools advertised there and was it a wide range of coaches from those schools (head coach, assistant, volunteer assistant)? |
Money money money money… |
Not that diverse |
College coaches definitely didn’t just begin for the very first time looking at 28s-- they just started tightening up their lists and getting more serious about the 28s. The early early lists for top players that get on the boards early and on the radar early happens now for the 29s. Do not listen to anyone that tells you that is not the case. Is it now till summer for 28s to be getting the serious interest from coaches being relayed to recruiting coordinators and club coaches if kid is a top 200 player. as for 29s it’s now time to get on the radar early with the winter prospect camps before the college season begins. |
