How do you know they're not married? Just because there's no ring or announcement in the NYTimes doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Yes they’ve apparently been together since before her divorce was announced but that doesn’t mean they were having an affair lol. She has always been really private about her personal life but if you look at photos from the end of 2012/beginning of 2013 (when The Americans started shooting) you’ll see that she’s no longer wearing her wedding ring. Idk about the details of their separation but they all seem to be fine and remain friends.

It's the accent. The receding hairline and 'hugh grant' type thing would not be as sexy without that Scottish accent. But--yeah--with it--pretty amazing !

He's Welsh, not Scottish.

It's a common problem on DCUM, apparently - thinking that Welsh things are Scottish. It came up in that "what would you change your name to" thread last week.

IDK if it’s still on Hulu but Matthew Rhys and Matthew Goode had a show called “The Wine Show” where they traveled around, drank wine, and were just their adorable selves. It’s very fun and relaxing.

As far as the Rhys/Russell relationship, I think she was already separated, or they’d agreed to separate. It never became supernova drama because her ex was not angry and everyone gets along.

He has average looks but a lot of charm and seems warm and funny. She also seems warm and funny which you wouldn't necessarily expect from someone who looks the way she does. They just work as a couple. The Americans was such a great show, including a perfect ending.
