Ivies are way harder. Not even close

Ivies have lost their shine. Overpriced progressive indoctrination centers. Head south.

Not a lot of lacrosse options in the south UNC Duke Jax queens and Mercer only schools with D1 teams south of VA

This is wildly inaccurate. Way more D1 programs then that

Not really. PP only missed High Point.

WTF?
This is the dumbest thread.

Ivy admin rates contradict this view. Progressive thought pervades every college campus (except for Liberty). Ivies are just lightening rods for national news. Protests and sit ins happened at Duke, Vandy, Clemson, Florida too. Look it up

Do most schools stack merit, athletic and need?

Anyone know what schools for a D3 that stack? athletic and merit scholarships? where could you find information on this?
Anonymous
D3 by NCAA rules do not give athletic scholarships.

Only ask as I never played Lacrosse in HS. At college Freshman year I was approached to be on team with scholarship. I thought it was scam but met with coach. He said I sent players out to find practice team folks. Told him never played. He said you ran track HS and around six foot two inch. You stand in middle and try to block stars in practice. I show form to Mom as wanted parental sign off. She reads they are not liable any injuries, they can drop me anytime, 20 hours a week practice, not Allowed job during season.

You are a tackling/crash test dummy no way. So I could get it but at what price.

DCUM will tell you it is necessary it is not.

One of mine played Division 1 Lax men. He never did a travel team. He walked onto his HS team at 9th grade never playing before this is a team that won states many times over. We as his parents had no interest in him playing in college and could have cared less about HS.

Education is more important in our house. However our DS decided playing in college would be something he wanted. He took care of everything.

Academic bar is typically higher at the top NESCACs. Lacrosse bar is generally higher at the Ivies but there is usually overlap between the top NESCAC teams and the bottom Ivies.
