So that tracks.

There are no semicolons in OP’s initial post. Perhaps you mean colons?

This is a semicolon ;

This is a colon :

The More You Know!

Yes, there is a semicolon in her title. The more you know (no caps needed)!

The More You Know was a PSA campaign that lasted from the 1980s through the early 2000s. So yes, when referencing that ad campaign, I did so properly.

Do you get that ONE semicolon in OP’s title is not “semicolons” plural?

Yes, is English not your first language?

It's pretty clear she proudly and deliberately structured the title this way.

I hate both in different ways:

Maverick is the son of open carry, Punisher sticker right wingers

Juniper is the daughter of hippie liberals who play the victim at every opportunity.

Maverick is like Wyatt and Gunner. It’s an immediate and undeniable indication that the parents are MAGA losers. I would not allow my child to develop a friendship with a child who had any of those names.

The name smacks of Chick-Fil-a, college dropout parents, and a pitbull on a chain in the bare dirt yard of the doublewide.

Hate it.

Bold of you to suggest that they even went to college at all.

At church this past Sunday, there appeared to be at least a half dozen Mavericks in kids church. I guess you could call the kid Ricky or something.

I do like Juniper. Could go by June if she wanted. I like the plant names.

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking, but I will weigh in anyway!

I don't really like either of these names.

Maverick: I agree with the point that a kid's personality dictates whether he's a "maverick" or not. Can you imagine a gentle little nerd named Maverick? :O I can't think of any redeeming qualities of this name.

Juniper: I feel like no one REALLY wants to name their kid Juniper. They think they need a long form of June or Junie. It's like people who want to name their kid Maggie, so they name her Margaret even if they don't really like it. Or worse, Magnolia.

I know one Maverick and his family is neither caucasian nor MAGA. It would not be my choice for a name because of the association with the top gun call sign.

Sorry, but I don’t love Juniper either.

Good luck, OP.

When I hear Maverick I picture a little holy terror of a boy whose parents style his hair into a mohawk and laugh or ignore while he tears through a store throwing things to the ground and pushing other kids.
