Never heard of tear downs in Kentlands except this house and it is probably expansion. |
lol. |
+1 Yes, it is orders of magnitude more expensive than any house that has sold in Kentlands or anywhere nearby in recent memory. |
|
I don’t know if there’s a market for it at that price but I can believe they spent close to that all in.
Honestly, who cares? It’s not a spec house and they’ll get what they get when it shakes out. There’s no need to be offended or insulting. |
|
Is it “Kentlands” or “the Kentlands”?
Like I’d feel fancier saying I live “in the Kentlands” as opposed to “in Kentlands”. Like “the Hamptons”. Not just “Hamptons”. |
I agree about "the." I personally have houses in the Beverly Hills, the South Beach, and the Tribeca. |
| Traditionally, it's pronounced "Gaithersburg." |
End of thread here...what else can be said
|
| It needs 10-20 acres for that price |
Kentlands or ‘the Gaithersburg ‘ What is wrong with Gaithersburg? DCUM people upset that ‘the Gaithersburg ‘ has a nice house!!! Is a nice house allowed outside The Potomac or The DC? |
|
Who cares. You may not like it, but I bet someone will like it and pay the price.
Next. |
No nice house is only allowed in my neighborhood in the Arlington. |
Kentlands does not pretend to NOT be in Gaithersburg. The Kentlands is a neighborhood in Gaithersburg and everyone who lives there doesn't care and will not dispute that. |
| This is hideous. The rooms are tiny, the fixtures are disco era and the home is literally feet from the neighbors. |
| anybody can "ask" for anything... doesn't mean someone will pay |
