I’m confused why people think Horace Mann is doing poorly? Just under 100 people posted and 16 to Cornell and 13 to Chicago. Not everyone is hooked enough to realistically aim for HYPS.

I know many top applicants who are waiting to decide until after HYPS (or WAS/ Columbia/ Brown/ etc) visit days. Stay tuned until May 1.

If these numbers hold it's going to produce an absolute banger of a NY Post article, they despise Fieldston but not to a point where they wouldn't celebrate other schools losing to them.
