The show keeps getting better and better. I will admit, even though I’m a huge fan of all the stars the first two episodes were a little clunky. But episodes five and six are amazing.
Spoiler alert… What a freaking Gaslighter Howard is. That evil look in his eye, he was delighted at watching his wife suffer when their child was in the hospital. Do you think he orchestrated the overdose of his own child????? that was definitely what they were implying. I don’t understand how she would’ve gotten up in the middle of the night and found the Altoids box? I think he woke up, saw that the wife that discovered Nancy’s ring that she was wearing when she died and put two and two together. I can’t wait to see how this develops. Damn, I might have to read the book. This show has totally got me. |

Honestly her outfits were so jarring it was hard to pay attention.
Also, the difference between boho Mary and the rest of her friends was a lot. Would these 3 women have been so close in real life? |
My thoughts exactly. They should have called the police when Mary told Eleanor about Howard. |
100% He is a sadistic, evil man. When the ex was laying it all out for Mary and she was finally really getting it you could see the horror washing over Mary. |
I doubt the other two would be friends with Mary, she is the odd one out. |
I think their history binds them together as well as their trouble with men and relationships, but Mary is the most loyal sort of motherly type and actually anchors the friendship. |

Well! I was wondering when the abusive stepdad/boyfriend would reenter the picture. He seems way too young to be Nancy’s stepdad.
I think somehow Mary’s oldest son will have the key to everything. He seems to know something is up . |
YES. This is the perfect way of describing her and why she annoys me so much. I really enjoyed the episodes she wasn't a part of! |
+1 Her slow cadence is SO annoying. DP |
| Elizabeth Moss is so good as an abused and overwhelmed woman. The best acting out of any of them. |
Agree, far better than the others. Originally I thought she was miscast, but the the character developed layers. Unlike the others. |
Kate Mara was poorly cast. Not pretty enough or charismatic enough for the role. Very flat. |
I disagree. I think she’s quite beautiful. |
NP-She grew on me. I think she actually has that WASPy frail and attractive but not great beauty look that makes her fit in her dh's world physically, even though she's from poverty. I thought her acting was very good and so was Moss's. Kerri Washington is just herself in everything and very flat. |
Charmless. |
