People who've drunk the Trump Kool-Aid will defend his administration no matter what. His paramilitary thugs and their Gestapo tactics are OK with them, just like they'll defend that piece of shit posting a video depicting the Obamas as apes. You all passed the point of decency, common sense, and reason a long time ago. Fortunately, the students, for the most part, are not such lost causes. |
| it seems that in our area a lot of the adults are very liberal and the kids think parents are not cool and prefer the trump way, people are losers and not cool if they don't make money or dominate. the r and g word is cool etc |
Sure, there are kids soaking up the toxic culture (both online and real) and other kids standing up for their peers. There were plenty of Hitler Youth back in the day as well. |
|
There are plenty of protests your high school students can join outside school hours in the DC Metro area. Also, your student can get an excused absence to go protest elsewhere during school hours.
Also, why is an adult hanging on Tik tok so much? |
I have a Tik Tok account. I don't make videos and rarely even react, but the algorithm realizes I'm mostly interested in travel, food, and dogs. It's not like I'm stalking some teenagers doing dance moves or vandalizing school bathrooms for clout. |
| TikTok isn't real life but you're wondering why you seeing stuff on TikTok but not in person. š |
Sure. Are you aware that it was forced on the kids? They were required to join. Big difference--or is FCPS encouraging/rewarding protests? That's kind of a problem. |
| I know, I know just because people want people to come into the country legally and that we want to deport the people who did not follow the rules to be deported. Apparently that makes us Hitler in 2026. The kids see this is crazy behavior (calling people hitler) and they don't side with the left because of it. |
You do know that tiktok is chinese propaganda and mostly bots, around 80% bots? |
āWhy arenāt the kids cool like the ones on Tik Tokā lol what a take. |
No, not at all. Donāt make things up and post them. Hereās what we received from our principal since there was talk of a walk out today: Per Regulation 2612, students are not permitted to stage a walk-out demonstration during the school day as this can disrupt instruction time and lead to safety and security concerns. Students who walk out to demonstrate during the school day will be marked as unexcused and could face disciplinary action in alignment with Regulation 2601 and the FCPS SR&R. Activities such as a walkout, are to occur before or after school to avoid instructional disruption. Student organizers must submit a written request at least five days in advance. The principal will meet with the organizers within three school days and issue a written decision within two school days. Administrators may also assign an alternative location to ensure safety. Any student demonstration at school that does not follow these procedures will not be approved and cannot happen |
|
There are local protests already outside of school, so the opportunities are there.
If the kids realize that the whole thing is theater (with real victims here and there) designed to just stir up the populace and set us even more against each other then they know they would be marching around outside in the cold for no good reason. Anyone with eyes wide open knows that there will be no mass deportations. Dems don't have to waste their time protesting it and Reps don't need to fight with their family members about it being reasonable for countries not to allow any ol' foreigner to come in just because they wanna. |

Lake Braddock sent out a huge, vague email as usual.

2020? Must have been in January or February (or early March). They didnāt go to school for the rest of 2020. |
