Davos is going to be a disaster

None of them have the best interests of ordinary Americans in mind with anything they do. The global elites would prefer we were all poor, defenseless serfs on their fiefdoms.

If Trump is the opposite of Davos, then Trump is the correct choice.

From the description in your 2nd paragraph above. Trump is the epitome of Davos.

The advance read-outs are that he's going to continue to scold/complain about his counterparts.

Buckle up. Wall Street already hates it.

Won't someone please, please think of the poor souls on ... Wall Street?

Precisely. The dems care about Wall Street. Trump cares about Main Street.

Trump cares about himself.

Trump cares about 1100 Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach. FL and Park Avenue, NY, NY. He doesn't give two hoors in hell about Main Street , USA. You were nothing more to him than a means to keep him out of prison.

You sound like you have Europe Derangement Syndrome. EDS.

Europeans look after European interests, just as we should be looking after American interests. But this whole deranged bullying bullshit ith our closest allies that Trump is trying to pull does not benefit America.

Allies look out for each others' interests.

This is shown by his 75 billion increase to ICE budget and 38 billion cut to healthcare.

ICE is a jobs program for Main Street Nazis.

Protesters in Basel today burned the American flag and huge signs "TRUMP NOT WELCOME HERE.! I hope someone brings rotten eggs and belts him with a half dozen. Who knows but the sulfur smell of rotten eggs might mitigate his normal body stench.

No, of the world leaders there ANY ONE OF THEM is more articulate, informed, qualified and law-abiding than Trump.

I would rather be represented by the worst of whoever is there , rather than the corrupt, criminal, idiot we are sending.

I would rather be represented by any of the waiters, ski instructors or children in the pre-K ski camps.

This is the week China won and took over leadership in the world. The US is now viewed as a hostile power and countries will work to keep the US out of their country.

Thanks republicans!

Going banana republic crazy is not going to help Wall Street or Main Street. The usually stolid bond markets had finally had enough today. Took under a year of Trump to shake the global belief in US treasuries as a safe asset.

It's amazing how differently the Democrats and Republicans behave when rooting out outrageous behavior in their own party. It took one disastrous debate for Democrats to openly call for Biden to step away from the campaign. Here we've had numerous instances of Trump falling asleep during important televised meetings, Trump saying the most shockingly cruel things, Trump berating other heads of state on television, Trump normalizing conquest of friendly sovereign nations, Trump normalizing the assault and murder of US citizens, and the inhumane treatment of foreigners, Trump rambling incoherently in his speeches... and yet, not a peep from the conservative representatives of the people. They are collectively responsible for the destruction of this country.

History will not judge the GOP kindly in the 2016-2018 years.

Not ignorant. Stupid. Willfully so.
