Don't worry, at some point we'll have a Dem back in office to go on a global apology tour like Obama did.

Nah. This can’t be fixed. Trump flushed American hegemony down the toilet and it’s gone. The world will no longer be run to the benefit of Americans.

Enjoy your lower standard of living, PP!

Don't shoot the messenger. Trump just reflected a mirror on America for what it is and was always. He's not the one who did all this, he's the delivery man who is doing it, but America was and is always a country that had a lot of fake pride in its democracy, justice, institutions, etc. being best in world when it is far from being even ranked Top 10. Obviously there is a lot of good, however, simmering beneath was always what is being shown now externally, it was always a 50/50 or 40/60, 35/65, if you want it that way. But always a 30%-40% in the country that had all these ideas and their culture is what is now being propagated on world stage. This is what you get when you forcefully keep the 35% that wanted to be a different country based on some very different ideals. American democracy is fake, it doesn't allow all type of political systems, it hasn't elected a women or even a non-christian white male ever as its leader, other countries have, even African nations that some people call as third world have done better. Go look in mirror America, this is you, Trump is just the messenger who showed the world who we are.

We are taling about the craptastic speech he gave which reflects nothing of this country but the failure of the last few elections.

Baby Goebels disagrees with you.

This ghoul is on a ticking clock as well. As soon as Trump's medically incapacitated, Vance will likely clean house and introduce some degree of sanity back into the White House.

Didn’t know Fox would broadcast a circle jerk. Isn’t this against the anti porn laws in the southern states? Fox views should be required to sign with a real id.

No, he won't. Sanity has no interest in JD, so JD has no interest in sanity. No one likes him for anything but being a trump imitator.

+ he likes having sex with Peter. He’s just a young version of Lindsey Gayham who swings both ways.

It's not the same. We voted this loser in twice, once after a failed coup and violent insurrection. The world will take a long time to trust the American voter again, if ever.

The world is learning how to do without the USA. Substituting away from us in trade, in alliances, tourism and defense. We are becoming like Russia-the big pariah people avoid

The Venn diagram of Miller’s views and Vance’s views is a circle.

Stephen Miller is a masterclass in being a delusional gaslighting dipshit.

There can’t be any way he actually believes his praise for Trump, can there? Usually I’m pretty good at figuring out people’s mindset, even for the weirdos in the current administration. But Miller I just don’t get. He doesn’t seem to be in it for the grifting or the glory in the same way as others and doesn’t strike me as a rabid Trump true believer. He resembles some of the people who love arguing and trolling, like Stephen Cheung, but that doesn’t quite fit either. Surely “sticking it to non-white people” can’t be his whole purpose in life, can it?

(Sorry, off-topic for Davos other than the clip above, but the question is bugging me.)

I was a kid during the Reagan years and grew up on a steady diet of “America is the best country in the world.” And as a kid, you believe what you hear from politicians and the media because why would adults be lying to you? It was very disconcerting to grow up and learn that many other countries have nicer things than we have (whether it’s affordable healthcare, happier populations, maternity leave, or whatever … even better public bathroom stalls!). For many years I switched to a feeling of “we have nice things, and many other countries also have nice things.” But now the first half of that is getting harder and harder to believe.

JD could make himself look like a true hero to the right and left alike by taking out Vought, Miller, and Trump. And wouldn’t it be crazy if he topped good old Peter Thiel too?

No one likes him but it doesn’t matter. By ensuring the right heads roll, Americans would welcome him as a breath of sanity. He’d get FDR level adulation for pulling us back from the brink.

Do it, JD.

Miller is a psychopathic narcissist, a born contrarian, a kid even his own mother hates. His purpose really is to be as vile as possible to anyone and everyone he can get away with doing it to. Trump gives him license to do whatever he wants because he is deranged and a narcissist too, and he really just wants to cheat at golf and stay out of jail while people kiss his ass like some cheap Mafia don.

Yes, it can be. Power and attention are what he wants. (Another Trumpist who failed kindergarten.)
