| With Green Card she should have no problems, but in the end, the immigration officer at the port of entry decides. She's already past the immigration visa restrictions, so this doesn't affect her at all. If she's only lived here for 6 years, she got her Green Card pretty fast. |
Don't say anything. She will be allowed in but it is at the discretion of the immigration officers. |
That’s fraud |

Marrying an abuser to get a USA greencard?
Isn’t that illegal? |
| Aren't there mail-order brides? Not sure how one ends up socializing, much less marrying a person who doesn't speak the same language. I guess they love each other long time! |
| Your stepmom is going to get back into the country and she’s going to get all your dad’s money. No soup for you! Next! |
| Yep, she probably went home to get more relatives in here as quickly as possible, before the Land of Milk and Honey runs dry! I heard Martha's Vineyard has lots of openings! |
| The policy is not in effect until Jan 21. Tell them to come back right now to protect their greencard. |
I think you misread the OP. They'd be more than happy if the "stepmom" got stuck on the border and never be able to enter. |

So dad is a passport bro.
|
| She’s a permanent US resident not on a visa. She won’t have any issues |
Doesnt the state dept vet for this BS? We had together a 100 page packet for our k1 fiance visa to marry a European we met in grad school, plus interview, plus bank acct statements, plus health test, plus background checks, plus $2000. Are these mail order bride types just marrying overseas or on tourist visas or are visa overstayers?? |
Unless she was out of the country for more than 6 months |
Technically, shouldn't be an issue. Realistically, if their American spouse earns and they've minor kids, they are fine. Your post implies that you are hoping they get denied. |
Why? If its consensual and marriage is legit then its a personal problem not government's. |
