Dang. I'm sure there a lot of Emory Test Optional apps that will be getting admits with SAT's much lower than that (35% TO generally) with similar GPA's. Your DS has good numbers. He will get in somewhere good. Stay patient. |

This kind of attitude is why so many kids are so stressed out about admissions and “prestige.” Horrible thing to say about a very impressive kid who is headed to an excellent school and is likely thrilled (as he should be) that he just got what he wanted and worked hard to get. |
