All three of these are more popular with the private school crowd who don’t flinch at spending $85K a year.

Again…Tulane is popular as well as schools like wake and Miami…easily 50% of the HS is probably full pay for college.

Why Sewanee should register is a ? Why go to a random school with D3 sports in the middle of nowhere TN…Washington & Lee has better outcomes and is closer.

Tulane 8k, and TCU, close to 11k undergrad enrollment. Both Tulane and TCU have D1 sports.

Agreed. I’m trying to sell my private school kid on both Tulane and TCU. DC wants a larger school, sports and warm weather, and I’m not convinced a big public would be a good fit for this kid.

TCU commonly gives merit discounts. Don't know about the other two.

Sewanee being a small LAC is a very different atmosphere than TCU and Tulane.

Know they’re great schools but what types of students go there? What SAT/ ACT GPA do you need from a DMV private to get in?

They aren’t great. Why do people need to call schools for mediocre students great?

Each of these schools is great for the right kid, maybe even yours. Sewanee was great for me, and I chose it over a couple large T25 schools, where I think I would’ve been a little lost. Beautiful campus, small classes with a focus on instruction, and merit aid. I did well academically, came out with minimal debt, and it got me into a “great” law school.

More graduates of your elitist colleges have started wars, bankrupt the economy, and conducted more harm on the world than any of the schools mentioned above.

Calm down, grandpa. They're mediocre, ok? And more Americans died in the Civil War than any other--started by your crew so the southern states could continue to enslave people. Reminds me of the recent Sewanee president who promptly fled because of....rampant racism!
