Who will he take down with him?

Everyone closely associated with Trump has zero political future. We are less than one year into this presidency and the disgust most Americans have for the Trump administration is becoming overwhelming. 3 years from now it will be universal. This is the worst administration in the history of the US.

I do expect Democrats to take the House next November. And then the impeachment and the investigations can begin in earnest. It’s very clear many senior Trump people are deeply corrupt. And there’s a history of anyone that gets involved with Trump ending up with enormous legal problems - so nothing new there.

The smarter ones can see the writing on the wall. Marjorie Taylor Greene breaking with the Trumpers is the tip of the iceberg. It won’t be long until everyone that wants a professional future - whether in politics or cashing in with the private sector - will have to turn on Trump. And the Epstein crimes gives everyone a good cover to get out sooner rather than later.

Unfortunately, I don’t think he is going anywhere. I keep seeing faint glimmers, but he keeps on keeping on. He’s taking us all down with him on a very very slowly sinking ship.

He's going to ride to hell with a cheeseburger in his aorta, running from his misery like he had for his entire life. He's rivaled only by Elon Musk as someone who had everything but happiness because he never tried to fix himself.

Dated a guy with NPD. Learned that the chances of his working that out were pretty minimal as they feel so much affirmation from getting their way. I really never quite grasped what that meant until this president, then Musk. They are miserable lots, but never dawns on them that the key to their happiness looks at them in the mirror every morning.

that's my guess too. it's gonna be folks who had nothing to do with his sexual shit, so like Katie Couric, etc. people who are Dems or seen as Dem adjacent. Betting all they do is scour those files for Soros' name.

WTH would Katie Couric go down? She's an independent now.

But according to Trump, all of Epstein's friends were all Dems.

He can't fix himself. He has a personality disorder. He was likely born with it, and it got worse due to his extremely dysfunctional family, particularly his racist, evil and very rich father.

Former Harvard President, and current faculty member, Larry Summers, had ongoing communications with Epstein. Senator Liz Warren wants him gone.

Harvard really is the best at cultivating unethical power hungry jerks that exploit the poor and rape our country for their own personal gain. I can list more than a dozen evil men who went to Harvard just off the top of my head. Why do people talk about a Harvard education as if it is something to be desired rather than avoided at all costs?

Well that's an excuse.

Does anyone else think Andrew must be plotting his revenge? Surely he won’t go down alone.

They are. Yale too. My theory is that the status attracts narcissistic sociopaths and their sociopathy and narcissism allow them to lie and cheat to build the kind of application you need to get in.

It will bring down wealthy men.

I don't think it will be only people that will go down. I think institutions will also be heavily impacted. I suspect that large universities were given Epstein funding and maybe even businesses.

That makes sense. But then why would such an “elite” and distinguished institution not weed them out before graduation? The reason that higher ed likes to make the peasants prove their personal character through essay requirements and by listing their extracurriculars is supposedly an honest process that results in the top candidates being accepted. I guess that’s just a lie. Why don’t people call them out for that sort of dishonesty?
