| VT has lobster |
| W&M is in the bottom 10 for school food. |
| I went to W&M in the 90s and it was Aramark then. The food was fine. |
Source? No way someone has eaten at every single college to make comparisons |
|
| Both W&M and UVA use Aramark, and their food is so much worse than Virginia tech. This seems like a solvable problem. |
| Nope. I don't plan on eating much or any of it. I have never heard anything negative about the food. |
It really does. |
It's definitely a lot easier to self run a dining program when you have 40 thousand+ students |
I’ve never been to a college that didn’t use Sodexho or Aramark, so there is that |
| I've eaten at WM dining this year. It was completely fine. My kids didn't have much concern about it. Many are just stating what they have heard from past years when dining was having significant issues. It's not going to be private school quality, but it's also not private school prices. |
| My freshman hasn’t complained once about the food. She’s in a gorgeous new dorm and is excited for the new dining hall to open soon. |
How many colleges have you ever been to? 1? |
I think VT is its own provider. JMU, UVA, and W&M I believe use Aramark. By reputation, JMU has good food while UVA and W&M do not, which is a bit odd if they have the same provider. |
This. Impossible to distinguish whether a school has more of the whiny students or actually has poor quality food. Not really very credible to believe that the same vendor has substantially different food on offer among JMU, UVA, and W&M. |
