Mine are in college now, but in HS:

DS1 Travel baseball year round, basketball/wrestling (switched mis HS), HS baseball

DS2 Travel baseball year round, football, wrestling, HS baseball

Travel baseball was lower key in fall, went into conditioning in the winter, on pause during HS season and then full on travel once the HS season was over. Both were recruited for college.

In 9th grade DS did freshmen football, varsity wrestling, and JV soccer.

When in middle school DD did volleyball in the fall, basketball in the winter, and lacrosse in the spring. When she got to high school, she did volleyball in the spring and winter, and lacrosse in the spring. Eventually, it became volleyball year round.

I would have loved mountain biking as an option.

Unrelated - Are boys embarrassed to play flag football instead of regular football?

12th: zero. Used to be 2 but dropped all by 16 for a job, driving and social life. And that’s okay.

9th: 1. HS and club volleyball all year.
