| They are trespassing. You do need a no trespassing sign. |
The "lost dog" was an excuse thieves will use to gain access and trust to scope a place out. There are many other excuses like that. |
Sure they run, but they do not unlock doors and go into peoples homes. Peering in the OPs windows is creepy. |
| Call the police and file charges. |
| The hard part about neighbors when you own your home is they’re likely going to be your neighbors for a long time. Better to excuse their behavior under duress and be a kind neighbor to preserve your relationship in the future (when you need help). |

That is really rude that your neighbors entered your yard multiple times and that they actually looked into your windows!
Especially looking inside your house!!? I would not call the police on them but I would let them know that in the future I would prefer if they did not look inside my windows. Since these are your neighbors + you have to live around them, I wouldn’t want to be rude about it even though I would be miffed about it. I don’t see why they would have the right to peer inside your home if they were searching for a lost dog…..! |
| I would have asked them to get off the property via the camera and if they refused to comply tell them you are calling the police. Not ok. |
|
They were worried sick about the dog and hoped you found it but didn't know who it belonged to. They were hoping that although you weren't home, the dog may have been safely inside.
That's it. |
She told them via the speaker cam that she didn’t know anything. Your explanation doesn’t match the basic facts in OP. |
Ooh, tough guy.
|
Ok you're right. I missed that post. |
| Did they find the dog? |
| What exactly are you worried will happen?! |
| Looking in your windows seems beyond the pale - do they think you’ve stolen the dog? |
IDK. But if they are entering without permission to look for their dog, I assume they are MAGAs! |
