That is covered under the standard Audi warranty, no need for an extended one. |

Subaru Gold warranty is an extended warranty offered by Subaru of America.
The dealership can charge whatever they can get for the warranty. Thus it’s best that you look on Reddit or the Subaru forums as to which dealership has the best price right now. You can buy the warranty from any dealership in the country and it can be used anywhere. The warranty is viewed as an excellent value. |
| Depends on the car. You do not have to buy the warranty at the time of purchase. You can shop around to find the best price from another dealer. We have saved more than 50% by doing so. Even if you don’t feel like shopping around, never pay the first price offered by the dealer. You can negotiate. |

Would never buy a car that needed one.
I don't drive enough that the car I bought would need one. I concentrated on making more money instead. I wouldn't want to drive a car that dies on me and needed repairs covered by warranty. Who would want to buy this crap from me later? |
| I just can't believe people continue to throw their money at merc and audi, or range rover for that matter. |
Sometimes you need to get it out of your system. My merc was a beauty and made me feel like I made it. Then I got over it and own a Subaru now, lol. |
Any other info on this? I don’t see it as an excellent value (though would have been for my first forester which was a true lemon). I’m revisiting it in the face of potential tariffs. Also told if you don’t have impeccable records of routine maintenance it won’t be honored. Any more input? Thanks! |
If you never changed your oil and your AC breaks your warranty will be honored. Not so much if you have engine problems. |
| No, I'd never keep a German car out of warranty. |
| Yes for a foreign model where it can be hard to find parts or get get repaired outside of the dealership. |
Least you're honest about it. |
