Sometimes you need to get it out of your system. My merc was a beauty and made me feel like I made it. Then I got over it and own a Subaru now, lol.

The dealership can charge whatever they can get for the warranty. Thus it’s best that you look on Reddit or the Subaru forums as to which dealership has the best price right now. You can buy the warranty from any dealership in the country and it can be used anywhere.

The warranty is viewed as an excellent value.

Any other info on this? I don’t see it as an excellent value (though would have been for my first forester which was a true lemon).

I’m revisiting it in the face of potential tariffs.

Also told if you don’t have impeccable records of routine maintenance it won’t be honored.

Any more input? Thanks!

If you never changed your oil and your AC breaks your warranty will be honored. Not so much if you have engine problems.

No, I'd never keep a German car out of warranty.

Least you're honest about it.
