Exactly. Total nothingburger. |
Correct. It’s a catch-22. You cannot register an AR15 in DC anyway, due to it being specifically banned by DC gun laws. So if you theoretically had an AR15 sling over your shoulder walking down U street, you’re still getting prosecuted for having an unregistered weapon. This is all much ado about nothing. |
Oh please. Even 200 black men armed with Shotguns scares the crap out of white people. The black community needs to exercise the rights Trump just gave them and march all in the Lilly white areas like Palisades, Chevy Chase, and NW DC. |
| This is just a technicality meaning that the FEDS won't press felony charges for this one specific thing. The city still has laws and will still enforce them until further notice, and the laws still say that open carry of anything is a crime. |
That can't be true, the president and his entire cabinet would basically have to operate like they were under siege in DC. Every motorcade trip would be dangerous. |
You say this because you yourself would be terrified at the sight of 200 armed black guys. And you project your fear onto everyone else, assuming they’re a cowardly racist like you are. Except you don’t clearly don’t understand gun owners, especially white people who own guns, and your post makes that laughably obvious. Because other gun owners would applaud that group, and join them. You’re the one who’s afraid. |
To repeat, this does not mean that carrying long guns in public is legal - it still isn’t. |
