ICE preparing raids in NOVA

Get arrested for a crime? Deport them.

Working at a carwash? Just leave them the hell alone for chrissakes, we got bigger problems.

The problem with what this administration is doing is that they are cancelling the lawful presence (including parole, TPS, applicants for asylum or other relief, and others) of people who are in the US, thus rendering them illegal, and then deporting them.

This is both unconscionable and directly targeting people who are trying to follow the (crazy!) immigration rules of the U.S. It makes me sick.

First of all - that is all on Biden. He totally corrupted parole and TPS
Secondly, they can choose to leave on their own and have a chance to come back. There is an app for that!

A reminder that the Egyptian who was here illegally was “peaceful” until he wasn’t and attacked a group of Jewish people.

We should push back, violently if necessary. These ICE thugs must be put in their place.

You don’t claim ‘asylum’ fleeing for your life after traveling through several other countries that are safer than several us cities but don’t pay as well.. These are economic refugees using a loophole that was supposed to be for war orphans and has been exploited by US businesses. We need a work permit system that won’t depress wages. And anyone who thinks the under the table labor hasn’t depressed wages in the low skilled jobs sector is just clueless about blue collar workers.

But Congress hasn’t been able to fix it for decades. So trump is using every loophole he can to just shut it down completely.. It’s probably the number one reason he was elected (I didn’t vote for him) so we need to be honest about who is really not being democratic here.

Republican presidents and members of congress are why the immigration system has never been overhauled. In the end, Republican constituents could never get around to giving legal (non-citizenship) status to the workers that entered the United States illegally. So they let the problem fester into what we have now: politicized paramilitary raids.

Oh please. It is group affiliated with democrats who are funding what is going on in LA.

Do some research:

One of the groups leading anti-ICE protests in Los Angeles is a taxpayer-funded activist organization with ties to the Democratic Party, while another has links to the Chinese Communist Party.

The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) — which received tens of millions of dollars in government grants during the Biden administration — staged a rally last week to denounce Immigration and Customs Enforcement arresting illegal migrants across the city, including those convicted of heinous crimes.

Protests against ICE have escalated since then, with more than 1,000 rioters taking to the streets, assaulting immigration officers, slashing tires and defacing public buildings, the Department of Homeland Security said, prompting President Trump to call in around 2,000 National Guard troops Sunday to quell the violence.

According to financial records obtained by DataRepublican, CHIRLA received nearly $34 million in government grants, mostly from the state of California, in the fiscal year ending June 2023, a jump from the $12 million it received the previous year.

Another group that was behind some of last week’s protests is the Marxist Party for Socialism and Liberation, which played a part in virulent past anti-Israel campus protests at Columbia University and which was once associated with suspected DC terrorist Elias Rodriguez.

PSL has ties to the Chinese Communist Party through funding from socialist billionaire Neville Singham and his wife, Jodie Evans, founder of activist group Code Pink, according to a 2024 report by the Network Contagion Research Institute. Singham sank millions of dollars into backing the groups after selling his software company, ThoughtWorks, for $785 million in 2017.

It's quite astounding how many lies, half truths, exaggerations, and anti American values can be crammed into one post.

No point in refuting any of it because people like you don't want to change your minds. You know it's all lies. You just want other people to believe it too.

Sure sure. "Crisis actors, foreign agents, and terrorists!" This is stupid propaganda meant to turn Americans against protestors and to justify force. You see the same thing in third world dictatorships by the way.
