Feeling rushed and overwhelmed

I’ve already explained twice. It felt right. We got engaged after 1 year of dating and didn’t want to wait a year to get married. We wanted kids and started right after we got married. I’m 33 and he’s 37. We didn’t want to wait. It feels right but I’m still overwhelmed.

It’s not parenting I’m overwhelmed about. It’s the preparing. We just closed on a new home that we move into next month. We have to furnish and decorate and prepare for a baby.

Take it easy. Enjoy your marriage, pregnancy and baby. What matters is your health, your relationship and your baby. Decor, furniture and being social media envy worthy and keeping with Jonses doesn't matter. Babies only need diapers, some basic clothing, a bassinet, car seat and stroller. All else is a choice not a need.

I’m not keeping up with social media. I do like to be prepared and ready for things as much as possible.
